I tried a different strategy for my stair running today. As background, the first week I ran 8 sets of stairs, without any running breaks in between to easy the workload. Last week, I ran 8 sets, with a lap in between each set. Today, I ran 2 miles for a warm up, 5 sets of stairs, another 2 miles at a fairly easy pace, then another 5 sets of stairs, followed by 2 miles of cool down.
Its getting easier. I'd like to build up to do 20 sets max, with a strategy similar to today. That would make a tough workout.
